The Swing Dolls will entertain
us with songs of the 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's, including such classic hits as

The Cashore
Marionettes are returning to perform for us a second
time. Young and old will enjoy this very popular program of a series of
touching portrayals and poignant scenes from everyday life, with a combination
of virtuoso manipulation, beautiful music, theatrical illusion and artistic
insight.

The Hotlanta Jazz Band
comes to us directly from Atlanta, Georgia with the aim of involving their
audience in their performance. We will experience
every bit of the joy, energy, and humor of that early American Jazz called
Dixieland.

The Rastrelli Cello Quartet,
a singularly unique ensemble, has been thrilling
audiences with their renderings of non-traditional programming since 2002.
They formed the ensemble with a mission to perform music “between the genres,”
and their widely varied programs mix comfortably works by Bach,
Saint-Saens and Tchaikovsky with that of George Gershwin, Dave Brubeck and
Leroy Anderson.

The Studio Singers were created by Tom Dustman,
Professor of Music at Long Beach City College
(CA), to perform and record Jazz &
Pop-Style vocal arrangements. This select company of highly talented singers are
auditioned each semester to form one of the country’s premiere college singing
groups. The Studio Singers are made up of musicians from all
over the United States as well as many International students (Japan, Dominican
Republic, South America, Mexico, Sweden). In addition to their annual Spring
Tour, they also perform at the “Holiday Concerts” in December and the “Spring
Thing” in May. These very popular concert series are held in the beautiful 1,100
seat auditorium at Long Beach City College, corner of Clark St. and Harvey Way.
Thank you for visiting....we hope to see you during the
season.
